I have been involved in the construction industry for in excess of 30 years working as a Site Manager and Project Manager for national house building companies in Devon and Cornwall, building and developing both bespoke and specific house type dwellings such as; apartments, extra care homes, schools, hospitals and heritage works.
I have also worked as the Construction Technical Manager for LiveWest, the largest social housing organisation in the South West of England.
Eric Doel Quality Inspections Ltd was formed to combat poor quality construction standards within the industry. I offer fire safety compliance inspections as a result of major failures during the construction phase.

I was Secretary and Vice Chairman for The Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate for the Devon and Cornwall Region for 7 years. I was also a technical hub member of the Institute, providing fire safety advice and guidance.
I was asked to represent the institute at The Passive Fire Forum, which was formed by the BWF (British Woodworking Federation) following the Grenfell tragedy.
I continue to work toward improving the standards of quality and fire safety throughout our industry.
